The City of Winnipeg’s policy on boulevard maintenance states that all homeowners are responsible for maintaining the front and side boulevards surrounding their property UNLESS the boulevard is more than 20 feet wide or you are located on a regional street. Properties that back onto a wetland either border a public reserve with a trail running along to the wetland, or have a property line that borders the normal water level in the wetland. Native Plant Solutions, a division of Ducks Unlimited Canada has teamed up with Qualico Communities to raise the bar for environmental responsibility and to evolve landscaping practices in new communities.
