Start in Your Home

In order to experience the community to the fullest, make sure you are comfortably settled into your home. That means unpacking all your boxes, hanging up all your photos and artwork, building any furniture and even stocking up your pantry. By doing this, you’ll alleviate the stress which will allow you to enjoy the community and take it all in.

Get Outside

Sage Creek provides the perfect landscape to get out and explore with your family. It’s a pedestrian-friendly community connected by an inviting network of over 9 KM of walking and cycling trails, winding past wetlands and surrounded by 66 acres of native grasses, wildflowers, shrubs and trees. (Download our trail map!)

Find your way to the unique trail features that create a great place to play. The Sage Creek Nature Trail, just beside Tallgrass Crescent, features wood and limestone boulders stepping stones to test your balance or wander the willow tunnels to reach the end!

Not only are there the trails, you can also visit the playground for some fun then making a pit stop right next door in the Village Centre where you can grab a bite to eat at Subway or RockWood Urban Grill or a quick juice at Freshii!

Meet Your Neighbours

Taking the time to get to know your neighbour can help you settle into the community. They might be able to help you navigate your way through the area or give you some pointers, and fill you in on what’s been going on. Who knows you may even create a lasting friendship!

Get Involved

There are so many opportunities to get involved in the community. You’ll quickly find out that Sage Creek, although within the city, has a small-town feel with residents who are committed to creating a welcoming and exciting community to live in. Many events happen throughout the year, including seasonal events like Tricks-or-Treat on the Trail, Canada Day Celebrations and more, all planned by the volunteers who are part of the Sage Creek Residents’ Association.
