Residents don’t need to travel outside the neighbourhood next time they’re feeling unwell or need a routine check-up with Sage Creek Medical Center now open at 105-115 Sage Creek Boulevard.
Located in the Village Center North, Sage Creek Medical Center conveniently provides walk-ins and online appointment scheduling. The facility features an on-site pharmacy with free city-wide prescription delivery.
“Sage Creek Medical Center focuses on providing premium quality of services,” explains Carol Wozney, medical office manager of Sage Creek Medical Center. “We will do everything to ensure we aren’t just meeting but rather exceeding patients’ expectations.”
Patients can easily order and refill their prescriptions online or by phone, and all insurances are accepted at Sage Creek Medical Center’s pharmacy. Some examples of the services provided by the clinic are travel health, routine vaccines, and diabetic support, as well as women’s health, mental health management, and more.
“We are planning to implement work related injury treatment and occupational disease management as well,” adds Wozney.
Wozney has been in the healthcare industry for 28 years.
“I feel that I was born with the passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives which is what is most rewarding with a career in the healthcare industry,” says Wozney.
“The healthcare industry is exciting, ever-changing, and dramatic in nature. It’s fast-paced, filled with challenges and offers the chance to work with new patients from all walks of life – I never experience the same day twice,” she adds.
The medical center chose to open in Sage Creek to improve healthcare access to nearby residents.
“Our mission is to provide efficient, convenient, professional and trusted healthcare services,” says Wozney. “We will provide essential services that promote health, prevent diseases and deliver health care services to individuals, families and communities based on the primary care approach.”

Sage Creek Medical Center currently has three family doctors including Dr. Ahmed Haleis, Dr. Ramzi Asskar and Dr. Salahalden Rhoma, as well as Dr. Musbah Emhamed who is the clinic’s pediatrician. Other team members include professionally trained medical office assistants, a pharmacist and a pharmacy technician.
