Their excitement for the brand and passion for Brown’s superior product, made opening a second location an easy decision for Mary Brown’s. Han Lei shares that his favourite item at Mary Brown’s is the Big Mary® Sandwich because it’s made from a whole Canada Grade A chicken breast, cooked to golden perfection, using the brand’s 50-year old breading recipe. He comments that he eats about five a week – and loves being able to bring delicious food like Big Mary to Winnipeggers.
Han Lei and Nana Sun are more than just Operators, they are true community patrons. They are looking forward to moving into the Sage Creek community with their own family and sharing Mary Brown’s real food and genuine hospitality with their neighbours.

At Mary Brown’s Chicken & Taters the food is Made Fresh from Scratch. The chicken comes in whole and fresh to each store where it’s hand cut, marinated and handcrafted to golden perfection. Mary Brown’s Taters are made from fresh Canadian potatoes – hand cut, seasoned and cooked in small batches in each store.
